Honestly, I thought it was soft and gentle on my face. I bought this as a set with a brow/lash brush/comb, eyeshadow brush and lip/concealer brush. I got it for ten dollars. It's an awesome deal.

I don't use this product all the time - I only have break-outs at the same time each month (you know what I mean - wink!). At the first sign of trouble I use the Clarifying Night Treatment for a few days and everything stays calm and clear and my skin is really soft.
