Look, I like this mask. But I saw in The Body Shop store this handout detailing what every item is used for in every line, and the mask is meant to be a once a week thing. I've been using it every day, twice a day, and my skin isn't that hydrated. Maybe if i was using this with the day and night aloe creams, it would be better, but considering it's meant to be a super hydrating "mask"(you leave it on), I thought it would be good for me, who typically had dryer skin, to use it more frequently. It's hydrating while it's not, but I don't see some of my dryer patches going away or anything once the mask is fully absorbed. I like the aloe line, and will probably try the other moisturizers, but the mask was a bit of a let down.

It works. I won't say it doesn't. But I haven't noticed any improvement in my skin texture or blemishes. However, I like to use this on days when I wear a lot of make up, to make sure I am getting it all off

Not very moisturizing and did nothing for my acne... I use it with almost the whole tea tree line so it's not like I'm not giving it my all. I really wanted this to work. There are much better moisturizers out there.

Great Face Mask!

I love this mask. It's not over-drying, it doesn't sting, it makes my skin feel so fresh. I wouldn't say it's a holy grail in terms of getting rid of my acne, and using this alone (without my other acne products) wouldn't do much, but I still love the way it makes me feel. I have a feeling that anyone who breaks out from clogged pores or whatnot will find this product works great! Unfortunately it doesn't do much for hormonal acne. I use the mask once to twice a week. One of my Body Shop staples!

I purchased this a while ago and have been waiting to do a review so I could see how the product performed on my skin.
I have combination skin, and have always had a problem with blemishes. It's not as bad as it once was, but I typically always have a few pimples on my face on any given day. Obviously, being in my 20s, I am desperate to get rid of them, and tried this product because of the raving reviews.
I will say, it's not a bad product. I don't think it harms my skin. It may even help with my acne. But it doesn't clear your blemishes. I've been using it for a few months and I haven't stopped breaking out. Maybe it has totally cleared some people up, and they are incredibly lucky to have found an over-the-counter product that is relatively cheap.
I use this in conjunction with the Tea Tree creamy facial wash (twice a day), the Tea Tree face mask (once a week), the squeaky clean Tea Tree exfoliator (when I remember.. once a month maybe? Bi-weekly?), and pure Tea Tree oil (on my most prominent pimples, nightly) so the issue isn't that I'm relying on one tea tree product to clear my skin. The issue is that, even all together, I am still breaking out, and I don't know what to do about it.
I'll still continue to use the tea tree line. Despite the fact that I clearly done have perfect skin, I love the way the cleanser and the mask make me feel. And since they're not harming my skin, they are probably helping, even if it's just a little bit. But I wouldn't call this product a holy grail acne cure or anything. In face, based on the stellar reviews, I'm extra disappointed in this product.

I purchased this, along with the Tea Tree face mask, a few weeks ago. I've waited until now to write a review because I wanted to give the products a fair amount of time to work.
Overall, I like this product a lot. It's cool and refreshing on my face, and I can feel the tea tree after i wash it off. It doesn't dry my skin out. And I do think it helped my moderate acne. It would draw out the blemishes and dry them up (without drying up my unaffected skin).
However, I'm not sure i can truthfully say that this product is 100% effective. I will say my skin has gotten better overall while using this product, but I've also started being more diligent with my vitamins and get a new nightly acne cream from my doctor, so I don't know how much of my improvement actually has to do with this face wash. If I'm being honest, I don't think my skin would be as good as it is right now if I weren't taking vitamins and acne cream.
On its own, this product is not as effective as the reviews make it seem. Still, it makes my face feel great and I will continue to use it. I just wish the bottle was bigger.

Are there any side effects in using tea tree oil on my face?
I know there are some side effects by taking tea tree oil orally, such as nausea or rashes, but is there any side effects by using these products directly on my face?
I'm using this face wash 2x daily (morning and night) along with the Tea Tree Pore Minimizer (once a day after the face wash) and Tea Tree Clay Face Mask (once or twice a week).

I use the Tea Tree Cool and Creamy Cleanser twice a day, the mask once to twice a week, and the Squeaky Clean scrub once a week. I also spot treat occasionally with pure Tea Tree oil.
I would say the Tea Tree in the body Shop products are probably diluted so it should be fine to use the cleansers, masks, and exfoliates as you have been. Pure Tea Tree oil can be strong and harsh if used too often. For instance, if you are spot treating and get the oil on the surrounding skin, it will turn (temporarily) red, and may burn a little. This usually goes away, but if it starts to burn badly, wash it off.
However, the products you mentioned using should be fine though! Just make sure to moisturize. And if you find your skin is very tight or dry, try the Drops of Youth bouncy mask, or something more replenishing. Remember, the tea tree line is targeted for blemishes, so it's meant to be more drying.

Will this last longer than the foaming version
I love this line but the foaming soap doesn't last long with this last linger?????
This will last much longer as it foams on the face from the smallest amount, whereas the foaming cleanser foams immediately out of the bottle and into your hand!
