underwhelming cleanser

I was very excited about this purchase as I've used oil based cleaners before and loved their ability to power through makeup and leave the skin lightly moisturized. This cleanser falls short in a number of ways. First of all, the scent is very strong - almost like patchouli oil - and I've noticed that it lasts all day! Next, the cleanser is very thick and emollient, demanding that more product be used than I thought (with most oil cleansers, less is more). I was also not able to use the cleanser in the eye area, meaning I'll need to use a separate eye makeup remover in addition to this blah cleanser on the rest of my face! Not ideal. I recommend removing some of the strong oils in the product so that it can be safely used to remove mascara, making it a much more versatile product. I have a feeling this will end up at the back of my bathroom cabinet, which is a shame because it has a lot of potential!

nice serum

This serum is a nice, gel-like moisturizer with some excellent natural softening ingredients like honey. It has a pleasant smell and applies like a dream, absorbing immediately with no greasy look or feel. I am slightly disappointed that it is not a stand-alone night time moisturizer, as I'd hoped, and for anyone with drier skin (especially winter dry skin) you will need to couple it with a richer moisturizer. I'm hoping I'll eventually see some firming results around the eyes and on the forehead but it's unlikely I'll repurchase!

wonderful moisturizer with spf

This moisturizer is fantastic! I have been using it for a week and someone from work told me my skin was glowing...she thought I'd gone away over the holidays and had a tan! It has a nice whipped texture and absorbs well. The unnecessary citrus smell is pretty strong but fades quickly. The 30 spf is great, making this a day moisturizer worth buying! My skin is normal to dry so I think it might be best for use alone in the summer, for now I wear it over my daily dose of hyaluronic serum and the moisture level is great!
I recommend trying this out if you have dull skin that looks dry and tired by the end of the day!
