Love these lip velvet sticks

I am a huge fan - used 1 nude (10), 2 coral (35) and 2 universal sticks. While I believe the universal shade will flatter anybody, I think the other shades will be more compatible with varying skin tones. For example, I love the coral on my lips and cheeks, but will only wear nude on my cheek as my it doesn't apply evenly on my darker tone lips. That being said, on my yellow based skin tone, the nude looks AMAZING on my cheeks - it gives just a natural flush of colour for flawless no-makeup looks. I bought the last three sticks when TBS released these to 40% sale! Don't think they're worth the full price tag though.

Did not have mattifying properties for me

I have oily skin so used this as an alternative moisturize in winter time to my tea tree lotion... it does not mattify my skin and leaves me with that tacky sticky feeling. I remained shiny as a greaseball throughout the entire day. Will not re-purchase.

I don't if it's because I have coarse straight black Asian hair, but the gel didn't hold any lash curls up or my brow hairs in place. What was worse was that the gel would scrape off some of the brow pencil pigment off my brows which was self-defeating. Bought it at 40% off, but would not re-purchase.

Love the colour and texture of the universal lip stick. During the fall, I used this as cheek colour as well. Gave only 3 stars for quality because the stick breaks off easily - this happened for both lip velvet sticks that I purchased. Especially after I broke the first one, I was careful in the second one not to twist the product up too much but it still broke. The produce still works as long as you twist it back down and work with small amounts. Still, I will continue to purchase as it doesn't dry my lips and gives great colour pay-off.

Best/Gentlest makeup remover ever

A great makeup remover and cleanser. It completely removes all traces of makeup - even stubborn lip products and mascara traces. Works great with the muslin cloth @ TBS, or I like to use a facial sponge when I have a full face of makeup. on days when I don't have makeup on, I still like to use it at night, because it leaves my skin so smooth. On my third tin of this product, and will keep purchasing!
