Great for... wait for it... bug bites

This was the grand discovery of this week!
Usually I only used this gel on my legs if they are swollen but this week my legs were totally ravaged by sand flea bites and were burning and itchy so I thought, "hey cooling leg gel, why not?" so I lathered it on and you know what? It worked!
Perhaps not with the same efficiency as pharmacy brand after-bites do but decently enough to keep me from ripping my skin off and letting me get to sleep.
I believe this will be my new post-camping best friend.

Good little brush

I bought the little brush to keep in my swimming bag.
It works super well although it does require a little more arm work due to the size.
Also, remember to keep these brushes relatively dry... I forgot mine in a bag with a wet towel and it got all moldy :-( All my fault though, not the brushes.

I love using a light dusting of these beads on my cheeks in winter to get rid of that pasty and pale look that sets in around the end of January.
They are also great way to look a little sun kissed in the summer if you are like me and simply don't tan.
Random fact: The beads will get caught in your brush and end up on the counter/in the sink/ on the floor, so make sure to inspect the brush after having run it through the beads and before putting it on your face.

The awesome Body Shop rep. Annie at the St-Bruno mall recommended this product when I told her that all the holiday running arround and partying had left my skin looking about 10 years older than I did a month ago.
I tried this product with a weekly exfoliation using the vitamine C microdermabrasion cream and after just 2 weeks my skin has returned to looking happy and healthy.
And... it smells yummy :-)

I always hated hair brushes because sooner or later the little plastic caps would come of the bristles and give your scalp a huge scratch. And then I found this one…
The advantage this brush gives you is that the fabulous massaging nubs at the end of the bristles are carved into the bristle! Giving you scalp a great scratch-free massage.

This product lives up to the other Body Shop hemp products and works wonders on dry skin!
The only aspect of it I dislike is the classic hemp product smell. Especially if your feet tend to get sweaty like mine, it seems to amplify the smell. I use mine as a night cream now.
Save that, it works great.

My feet are happy...

I have really callous-y feet and this scrub used in conjunction with the intense foot rescue keeps my feet sandal-worthy and smooth all summer.
In addition, I prefer it to traditional pumice stones that get a little gross and grody with use.
Just make sure to rinse the shower floor/ bath after you use it or the next person to shower might have to suffer some residual grit.

I have curly hair and Canadian winters used to turn my head into frizz central until I started using this twice a week. I just put a little bit on the tips of my fingers after I shower and start by applying it to the tips of my hair and work up. It does a great job and leaves my hair very soft and frizz-free! I just recommend being cautious about using too much because, since it is oil, using too much will make your hair oily and weigh it down.
But I love it and it smells great!
