good primer, but matte doesn't last

I didn't find that this really helped my face stay matte looking; it would when first applied but after about an hour it'd be back to how it usually looks. I still like using it as a primer under my foundation everyday because it really helps foundation spread better and more evenly, resulting in not having to use as much.

worth it for the money

I've always used less expensive foundations from drugstores like CoverGirl and Maybelline, and have tried many but have never been completely satisfied with them. Finally, one time when I was in the Body Shop not too long ago I decided that I'd spend more on this foundation hoping that it would actually be worth the extra money. It has been worth it, I'm still using it and loving it. For one, I've noticed that it actually makes my skin look healthier; I have more of a glow now. Second, even though it does cost more I get almost the same amount of use for price as with the cheaper foundations because this spreads better so I can use less, making it last longer.
