This is my unbiased opinion, as I'm not a fan of musk: I would absolutely recommend this fragrance to a musk fan. It smells authentic and not synthetic like other musk in its price range. It's very musky at first, and becomes creamy and subdued after the dry down.
As I mentioned, I'm not a fan of musk so to me this scent hit my nose like a musky powder puff to the face. I only enjoyed it as it faded away.
I received this as a sample in a recent in-store purchase.
I paid $8.00 for this, thinking it was going to work miracles on my winter chapped lips. It performs like any other similar lip balm, like Burt's Bees for example. It tastes absolutely awful and when I wore it for the first time my boyfriend commented that it smells like pine needles. I'm actually going to give it a few points for tasting bad, as it hinders me from biting at my lips. I would only recommend this to people who enjoy other products from The Body Shop hemp line, and to everyone else I would recommend paying half the price for Burt's Bees or better yet, a quality handmade balm.
Enriched with real banana puree from Ecuador, this cleansing shampoo is irresistible. Use daily to gently cleanse your hair, leaving you with beautiful results.
I recently picked this up during an in-store sale, having fond memories of it as a teenager. It has an authentic mushed banana consistency, which I like. It doesn't lather up that well, so I was surprised to read that sodium laureth sulfate (a detergent and foaming agent) was the second ingredient after water. Despite this, it's non-drying and leaves my hair feeling clean and manageable. It's also not heavy, and doesn't add residue to my oily, fine hair. I'm not a fan of the fragrance straight from the bottle. (and there is fragrance added, it's not just banana purée as people would like to think) It smells like banana Popsicle, and my son commented that it smells like yucky banana medicine. However, once you've rinsed it from your hair it smells pleasant and demure.
This wooden nail brush is super comfy in your hand. The bristles are soft, maybe a bit too soft: I couldn't get hardened particles free from under my nails, so I recommend using after bathing or a good nail soak. I would also recommend this product for men as it is a good grooming implement without feeling too girlish. The price is okay, I happened to pick it up as a freebie during an in-store sale ... free is definitely better than $5.50
